Biography

Susie loves to write and teach about the life and joy that Jesus brings to all ages. By sharing God’s Word in simple and relatable ways, Susie refreshes hearts with creativity and hope.

Together with her ministry friend Angie Baughman of Steady On Ministries, Susie enjoys co-hosting Understand Your Bible– a weekly podcast discussing one word and one verse of scripture at a time.

Susie is a member of the Northwest Christian Writers Association where she has been part of the conference faculty and is a frequent presenter. She is also a member of the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.

Susie and her husband live in the Puget Sound region of Washington State. They love to hike, kayak, discover new coffee shops, and cheer for Seattle sports teams. Most of all, they enjoy spending time with their two adult sons—one in the Northwest and one in Hawaii.
